COVID-19 Update

Paffrath and Thomas, breckenridge real estate company

To all of our clients and friends,

We hope this message finds everyone healthy and well amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. We just wanted to reach out to let you know that Paffrath & Thomas is still operating but under modified conditions while being deeply committed to the safety of our clients, friends, brokers, and community. In an effort to comply with social distancing recommendations all of our brokers have been instructed to work from home. All brokers are readily available by cell phone and the office is still functioning as normal. All calls are being answered and showings are still being scheduled by request. If you have any questions or concerns about the current situation in Breckenridge do not hesitate to give your broker a call.

For those of you who have not heard, Vail Resorts has decided to suspend all mountain operations for the remainder of the season. Because of Breckenridge’s high elevation, there is a chance that they could re-open in early May but that is still uncertain to this point. Vail Resorts operated retail stores and lodging properties will also be closed for the remainder of the season. The Town of Breckenridge sent out an emergency alert on Sunday, March 16th stating “10pm tonight all public retail and bars/restaurants will close. Banks, grocery, pharmacy, liquor, marijuana disp., and gas stations permitted to remain open. Midnight tonight Uber and Lyft suspended. Summit Stage suspended after all regularly scheduled routes tonight. Hotels and shuttle services to close noon on Thursday.”

Again, we hope everyone is safe and encourage you all to follow your local government protocols in this challenging time. We just wanted to communicate and let you know that we are still here to serve any of your real estate needs and that we will continue to keep you updated as this develops.
