History
The town of Silverthorne has modest beginnings as a camp for workers building the Dillon Dam. It wasn’t until 1967 that Silverthorne became incorporated and originally was just a convenient refueling stop along I-70. The town has now evolved into a permanent destination for over 4,000 residents.
