History

In 1967 the first 500 acres of the ski resort were acquired. Keystone opened three years later in 1970 and the lift tickets only cost $5! Keystone has been steadily expanding since and now ranks as one of the largest ski resorts in Colorado offering plenty of terrain for skiers and riders of all ability levels. Even with its expansion however, Keystone has still been able to maintain family atmosphere that makes this mountain town so special.
