History

The town of Dillon was incorporated in the late 1800s but later had to relocate to accommodate the reservoir that was built that we now know as Lake Dillon. The phenomenon of recreational skiing that occurred in the 1960s gave Dillon the jumpstart it needed to become the town that it is today. The quaint town offers a friendly feel and has seen a lot of growth in recent years.
