Are you ready for Spring & Summer in Summit County? As the saying goes “people come to Breckenridge for the winter but stay for the summer”. That may be in regards to our most famous town but all of Summit gets into the festival spirit during the few months of warm temperatures. We have unbelievable weather during the summer months and it’s the perfect opportunity to get out and enjoy the outdoors. You probably already have your list of adventures made but here’s a run down of some of the biggest events happening over the next 5 months. Take a look and see what’s going on and don’t forget to comment with your plans for the summer. Hopefully it includes stopping by our office on Main Street in Breckenridge to say “hello”.
Every spring the towns of Summit County come together to clean the streets after the snow melts. During the Winter months there’s trash and debris that are covered up by the mountains of snow and come Spring residents, home owners, and more team up to clean our towns before the Summer crowds roll in. The towns support each effort by providing supplies and then a lunch in the afternoon. Check in with your town to see what the plans are and how you can participate in this yearly tradition.
